Greg Wise and Kathryn Mannix - The End in Mind
Friday 27th April - 6pm
The well-known actor, whose credits include Willoughby in Sense & Sensibility and Louis Mountbatten in The Crown, talks to Dr Kathryn Mannix the palliative care and end of life specialist about how we deal with death – whether our own or someone else’s.
Greg Wise will share his experience of his sister’s death, told in his book Not That Kind of Love, and Mannix, whose career is based on wide experience in working with the dying and the carers of the dying, will explore why a better public awareness about what happens as we die would reduce fear and enable people to discuss their hopes and plans with the people who matter to them. A brave and comforting discussion.
