John Tusa has been at the forefront of broadcasting and the arts throughout a very distinguished career. A British arts administrator, and radio and television journalist, he is co-chairman of the European Union Youth Orchestra, was a main presenter of BBC 2's Newsnight programme and managing director of the BBC World Service.

Until recently he was also managing director of the Barbican Centre. He’ll be taking about the challenges and the future of broadcasting and the arts in the brave new digital world.

Libby Purves has had an exceptional broadcasting career from Radio 4’s Today Programme to Midweek as well as being The Times Theatre Critic for many years.
