Stands Up For The Classics

We welcome a very unique show from the clever writer, broadcaster and stand-up comedian who brings a funny and refreshing view of the Classics. Her first novel, The Amber Fury, was published to great acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, she is a regular contributor to BBC TV and Radio 4 and bangs on about Juvenal whenever she gets the chance. She was a judge for the Orange Prize for Fiction, the Man Booker Prize, and the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize.
